The PUV incorporates
working platforms at the front and rear of the vehicle which allows
work to be carried out at both ends simultaneously. |

However, these
can be folded away to maximise its manoeuvrability and allow the vehicle
to navigate around tighter tunnel bends. |

A
hydraulic power outlet allows drills, nut-splitters and other tools
to be driven from the PUV without the need for additional power supplies
. No cables, no generators! No Batteries, no Chargers!

With the pipe carousel
in position, our PUV is helping utilities to replace overhead sludge
pipework. The carousel allows up to three pipe sections to be exchanged
or installed during any one trip.

With the
carousel removed, a larger working platform is available and the scissor
platform can be used to lift personnel and equipment, giving them
access to the roof of the tunnel. |
